20 February 2017
The 2017 season started last week for Cassio and his eleven horses. They took part in the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour.
Lagerfeld came back in competition with a good fourth place in the Longines Grand Prix on Sunday (1m50). He also ranked seven on thursday in a 1.45m class. Ulahop Boy and Ut Majeur de Brecey jumped well too, the first was in the ranking of a 1.45m test on Friday; at the tenth position. “It was a really good start for the experimented horses. Lagerfeld was in a great form.”
Versus de Virton and Dollar de Frémis enabled Cassio to win two tests for the first one and to rank third for the second one (on 1.35m fences). “They were super. The other eight-years-old horses, Dayton Sitte and Jasper M, made some good training courses too.”
The young horses started well too with two clear round and a first place for Exocet du Houssoit, a third place for Quarisma RC and a sixth place for Kaiser van het Lambroeck. “I’m happy with them, they jumped well!”
“It was a good first week and I hope that the next part will be even better!”
The second week start today at the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour, let’s go!
